SHARPSBURG - Robert Ellis Corbitt, 87, of Sharpsburg passed away March 7, 2025. He was born February 14, 1938 to Ottie L. and Eva Mae Corbitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, son William (Bill) Corbitt and sister Azilee Meredith.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Sandra Corbitt; two sons Robert and Kenneth Corbitt, daughter Wanda (Richard) Patterson; brother Donald (Margaret) Corbittl two sisters Annette Corbitt and Josephine Tatum; 10 grandchildren;12 great grandchildren and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount. Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount with military honors immediately following the service.
