Earnest Atlee Stallings, 85, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. He was born January 11, 1940 Nash County to the late Joseph and Rhada Matthews Stallings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Stallings; aunt, Rhada Matthews.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Stallings; daughter, Melinda Coghlan (Will); two grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Momeyer Baptist Church with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. with Will Coghlan and Eddie Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Matthews Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Momeyer Baptist Church.
