SPRING HOPE - Delores Marilyn Edwards Burnette, age 82, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Born in Nash County on August 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Gus Edwards and Elizabeth Marilyn Windborne Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Burnette.

Delores is survived by her daughter, Teresa Burnette of Spring Hope; her son, Gary Burnette and wife Heather of Lake Royale; her brother Phillip Edwards; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
