ROCKY MOUNT- Robert Oliver Flood, age 77, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. Born in Nash County, on August 16, 1947, he was the son of the late David Andrew Flood and Sallie A. Harris Flood.

Robert is survived by his sister, Flora Elizabeth Flood Ferrell; a nephew and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Peachtree Baptist Church, 3523 NC 581, Spring Hope, with Rev. Eugene Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bunn-Harris Family Cemetery. A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the sanctuary.
