Joe Ben Johnson, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025. He was born July 7, 1944 in Nash County to the late Ben and Ida Lancaster Johnson. Joe was also preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Lee Johnson and brother-in-law, John Burgess.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Lane Johnson and wife Jennifer; daughter, Sheila Dawn Daniels and husband Mike; sisters, Linda Campbell (Donald) and Louise Burgess; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A service was held February 9, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Mills officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
