William Franklin Long, Jr., 58, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. He was born April 26, 1966 in Nash County to the late William Long Sr. and Anita Wood. He was also preceded in death by his adopted parents, Moses and Dorothy Winstead; brother, Randy Long and sister, Rita Long.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Long (Ryan Mann); brother, Jonathan Long; sisters, Melissa Boykin, Rhonda Williams, Joyce Eason, Wanda Height, Donna Wood, Tammy Garcia and Tracy Shearin; six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.

A service will be held at a later date.
