Anita Carol Bozelle Fortier, 58 passed away Monday, January 27, 2025. She was born in Edgecombe County August 8, 1966.

Anita is survived by her father, Francis (Frank) Bozelle (Barbara); her mother, Nancy Jones (Ernest); her husband, Alan Fortier; sons, Daniel Peele, II (Nicole), Christopher Alan Fortier (Victoria); daughter, Elizabeth Gail Griffin (Cameron); three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carrie Daughtridge and Joe and Addie Marks.
