Michael Ray Joyner, Jr., 24, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born September 28, 2000 in Edgecombe County. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Kathy Taylor and Wilbert "Wimp" Griffin; maternal grandparents, Patricia Ann Lee and Vickie "Goat" Lee Denton; uncle, Charlie Joyner.

He is survived by his mother, Joni Adcock and husband, Rex Adcock; father, Michael Joyner Sr.; Michael Jr.'s fiancée, Sydney Daughtridge; son, Axel Joyner; daughter, Magnolia Joyner; brothers, Daniel Adcock (fiancée Jessica Smith), Michael Parker, Tanner Wadsworth, Christopher Joyner, and Dawson Jones; sisters, Brianna Webb and husband Jordan , Victoria Adcock; a niece and nephew; grandfather, Stanley Lee; grandfather, Rex Adcock Sr..

A memorial service was held February 1, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
