NASHVILLE - Brenda Kaye Joyner Deans, 78, passed away January 12, 2025. A private graveside service will be held.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. January 16, 2025, at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her daughter, Amy Noland.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Susan Joyner and husband, George, and Amy Noland; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Linda Modlin, Sherry Joyner, and Elaine Perry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Starlon Randolph Deans, Sr.; son, Starlon Randolph "Randy" Deans, Jr.; grandson, Tracy Deans; parents, Randolph and Hildred "Nanny" Joyner, and her brothers, J.C. Joyner and Doug Joyner.
