ROCKY MOUNT - Paul Bryant Snead, age 66, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia on March 12, 1958, he was the son of the late Floyd Coolidge Snead, Sr. and Dorothy Page Whittemore Snead. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Coolidge Snead, Jr.

Paul is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janet Marie Rawlins Snead; his son, Jason Bryant Snead and wife, Jessica; his daughter, Susan Snead Webb and husband, Kevin; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Arlington Baptist Church, 1500 Bethlehem Rd, Rocky Mount, with Rev. Mike Stamper officiating. Burial will follow the service at 3 p.m. on Friday at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, 3691 Hayes Mill Road, Baskerville, VA 23970.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

The family will be accepting flowers or donations may be made to the Arlington Baptist Church Building Fund, 1500 Bethlehem Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
