Memorial Services for William Lee Pettiford, age 70, who died Saturday, December 28, 2024, were held January 6, 2025, at Richardson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Micah Mason of Nelson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Evangelist Rebecca Pettiford Leonard of Ambassadors for Christ Ministries delivered the eulogy.

William is survived by his wife, Deborah Pettiford of the home; two daughters, Brandy Pettiford of Raleigh, and Lashunda Pettiford of the home; one son, William "Jerome" Fogg of Louisburg; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Pettiford Solomon of Somerset, NJ, and Rebecca Pettiford Leonard (Will) of Louisburg; one brother: Carl Pettiford of Warrenton.
