ROCKY MOUNT - Douglas Wilkins, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, passed away December 30, 2024. He was the son of the late Cleveland "Bill" Wilkins and Hattie Allen Wilkins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 1 p.m. at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope. Interment will follow in the Meeks Cemetery in Spring Hope. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12-1 p.m. prior to services.

He is survived by four sisters, Reverend Carolyn Lucas of Raleigh, Linda Wilkins of Rocky Mount, Effie Terrell (Anthony) of Wilson, and Angela Payne of Rocky Mount; three aunts; several cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
