WASHINGTON - Dollie Bell Watkins Casey, age 91, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. Born in Nash County on November 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Nick and Maggie Bottoms Watkins. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Nettie Pritchard, and Margie Bowen; and brothers, Jesse Watkins, Arthur Watkins, and John Watkins.

Dollie is survived by her husband of 22 years, Norman H. Casey; her daughters, Marla Jackson, and husband Raymond, of Houston, Texas, and Debra Cotie, and husband, Micheal, of Shepherd, Texas; sons, Robert Richards, of Pasadena, Texas, Thomas Richards, and wife, Joann, of Lafollette, Tennessee, and David Richards, and wife Christie, of Baytown, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was October 21, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Ramon Mizell officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
