Lynn Vick Boyette, 80, passed away October 18, 2024.

Lynn was born May 19, 1944, in Kenly as the youngest of ten children to the late Thomas Guy Vick and Ossie Overman Vick.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Donald Boyette; her three sisters, Ruth Vick, Edith "Peggy" Waddell, and Billie Boykin Mattson; and her two brothers, Lester Vick and Lonnie Vick.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Boyette Dolmatin (Rich) of Castalia and Beth Boyette Dye (Paul) of Manassas, VA; two grandchildren; four brothers; Lance Vick (Gloria), Jim Vick (Janice), James Vick (Geraldine), and John Vick.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church.

A funeral was held October 22, 2024 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
