ROCKY MOUNT - Joan "Joannie" Carver Holloman, age 70, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Born in Cumberland County on July 18, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee Carver, Jr. and Jewel Stubbs Carver. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Robert "Robbie" Holloman, Jr.; and her sister, Mary "Phyllis" Pearce.

Joannie is survived by her sister, Belinda Carver Forbes and husband, Joe, of Elizabeth City; two nephews and her niece.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
