BAILEY - Rachel Evans Deans, age 100, passed away August 20, 2024.

A service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle, Sims. Interment will follow at Sandy Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Wilson.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

She is survived by 7 daughters, Audrey Deans of the home, Linda Lucas, Rachel Morgan, and Stephanie High (Cecil), all of Bailey, Brenda Harris (George) of Irvington, NJ, Judy Kaye Clark of Rocky Mount, Debra Isaac (Terry) of Woodbridge, VA; one son, Lathan Deans (Jacquelyn) of Fayetteville; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Earline Evans of Sims, Katherine Evans of Sharpsburg, Norris and Bessie Deans of Raleigh.
