ROCKY MOUNT - Corinne Etheridge Landis, age 95, passed away August 18, 2024. Born in Nash County on April 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late J. M. Etheridge and Mary Fisher Etheridge. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kelly Landis, Jr.; her son, H. Kel Landis, III; and her sisters, Lena Hirsch, Juanita Daughtridge, and Lynda Rhyne.

Corinne is survived by her son, Mark Landis and wife, Margaret; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

A special gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

A private family inurnment service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Columbarium Garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Corinne's memory to the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
