ROCKY MOUNT - Claudette Deans Reges, age 81, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Born in Red Oak on April 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Claude Earl Deans and Murveree Fisher Deans. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jon Smith.

Claudette is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roger Dixon Reges; her sister, Becky Lou Deans Smith; her daughters, Heather Reges Thompson and husband, Chad Wayne Thompson and Kristie Reges; 4 grandchildren; a niece and nephew; and many cousins.

A service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, 4 p.m. at Red Oak Baptist Church, 4861 Church Street, Battleboro, with Pastor Chris Fowler officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
