NASHVILLE - Faye Waters Grimes, age 75, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Born in Nash County on August 12, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Armon Waters and Edith Savage Waters.

Faye is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jimmy Grimes; her daughter and husband, Kelcey and Eric Gazaway of Nashville; one grandchild; her brothers, Butch Waters (Jean) of Pinetops, Ronnie Waters (Glenda) of Tarboro; her sister, Shirley Waters of Tarboro; and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Timmy Tucker officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
