SPRING HOPE - Doris "Faye" Edwards, age 73, passed away June 14, 2024. Her life began in Nash County on June 28, 1950 when she was born to Askew and Doris Murray Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Stephanie Dickinson.

Faye is survived by her sister, Marsha Parker (Jerry Lee); brothers, Ray Edwards (Wendy) and Kenneth Edwards; a nephew and niece along with several great nieces and nephews, other extended relatives and family friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Free Union Free Will Baptist Church, 3454 Macedonia Road, Spring Hope, followed by a brief committal at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary.
