ZEBULON - Glenn Murray, age 81, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Marian Stallings Murray and his uncle, Dwain Stallings.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Proctor Murray of the home; daughters, Denise Wood (Gary) of Zebulon, Melissa Murray Simpson of Wake Forest; son, Christopher Proctor Murray of Zebulon; sisters, Connie Hull of Tarboro, Cindy Orr of Wilson; brother, Richard Murray (Mary) of Spring Hope; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A service was held May 11, 2024 at Spring Hope funeral home with Pastor Harry Upchurch officiating. Interment followed at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude`s Children`s Hospital.
