ROCKY MOUNT - Carrie Ann Daughtridge Parker, age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Born in Edgecombe County on April 26, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Hayes "Jack" Daughtridge and Emma Lee Vick Daughtridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Williard Lee ""Willie" Parker; her brothers, George Jasper Daughtridge, David Lee Daughtridge, Sr., and Jackie Eugene Daughtridge; her sisters, Nellie May Daughtridge Moore and Shirley Daughtridge Shearin; and her niece and dearest friend, Betty Diane Batts.

Carrie is survived by her sons, Alton Jay Bulluck and wife, Janice, Tony Ray Bulluck, and Williard Lee Parker, II and wife, Candy; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; her brother, Johnny Franklin Daughtridge and wife, Mattie; and sisters, Marie Daughtridge Sawyer and Lorine Daughtridge Crompton.

A service will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Shenandoah Baptist Church, 3894 Shenandoah Drive, Rocky Mount with Rev. Glen Hill officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carrie's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
