ROCKY MOUNT - Willard Edward Williams, Jr., age 74, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born in Nash County on July 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Willard Edward Williams, Sr. and Peggy Williams Marks. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Williams; and his beloved dog, Marlie.

Willard is survived by his brother Randy Williams; his sisters, Debra "Debbie" Whitley and husband Randy, and Darlene Hale and husband, Jim; a nephew and several nieces, great-nieces and nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 215 Church Street, E., Elm City with Rev. John Scott officiating.
