SHARPSBURG - Danny Sykes "Critter" Crisp, age 67, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born in Edgecombe County on April 1, 1957, he was the son of the late Janoda "Cris" Sykes Crisp and Joyce Stephens Crisp.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Crisp Bunn and husband, Trey, of Nashville; his son, Daniel Sykes Crisp of Lewisville, TX; two grandchildren; his sisters, Deborah Crisp Hawkins and husband, Stephen, of Rocky Mount, Teressa "Lynn" Crisp of Battleboro, and Beverly Crisp Pierce and husband, Phil, of Pinetops; and his nephews.

A service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Carlton Cockrell officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home until 8 p.m.
