NASHVILLE - John Conrad Williams passed away on January 9, 2009 at Nash General Hospital. He was born in Nashville, the only child of the late John Henry Williams and Fair Ellen Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eunice Jones Williams of the home; one son, John Konrad Williams (Rachelle) of Rocky Mount; two grandsons and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Union Hill Baptist Church, 1104 Taylor Store Road, Nashville at 1 p.m. with the Rev. William F. Wright, Jr. officiating. Visitation was from 3 - 8 p.m. on Friday at William Toney’s Funeral Home, Spring Hope. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
