CASTALIA - David "Pacman" Ray Braswell, 63, passed away March 1, 2024. He was born July 20, 1960 to the late Marvin Ray and Virginia "Ellen" Chappell Braswell, both of Nash County.

David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Rachel Braswell; his daughters Jenny Braswell, Leslie Lancaster Davis, Priscilla Braswell, Deborah Sullivan, and Nikki Fly; 7 grandchildren; brothers Cliff Braswell (Kim) and Scott Braswell; sister Hope Bone; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the funeral home with Rev. Ted Jones and Rev. Frankie Carroll officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
