Annie Belle Wood Edwards, 95, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024. She was born August 21, 1928 to the late Bonnie and Lula House Wood. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Harold Wright Edwards; brothers, Carl Wood, JM Wood, Garland and Douglas Wood; sisters, Ila Mae Wood and Christine Jones.

She is survived by her children, William Harold "Bill" Edwards and wife Jo, Nancy Matthews and husband Ronnie, Kenneth W. Edwards and wife Linda; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one more due in May; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Peachtree Baptist Church with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gene Whitehead and Rev. Ricky Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Peachtree Baptist Church Cemetery.
