Samuel Rufus Jones, 63, passed away February 6, 2024.

Samuel was born on August 12, 1960 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late father, Samuel Jones Sr., survived by mother, Peggy King Jones.

He was the husband of Francine Fogle Jones and the oldest of five children, Conrad Jones (Theresa), Gregory Jones (Frances), Kelli Jones and Jeffrey Jones. Samuel is also survived by his daughters, Samonna Jones, Jasmine Jones, Briana Jones, Asjha Jones, Aaliyah Jones; sons, Terrell Rose, Samuel Jones III, Brendon Jones; 6 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews. cousins, and friends.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Castalia Missionary Baptist Church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. with a funeral service to be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Victor Fenner officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Family Cemetery 5377 Boulden Road, Nashville NC 27856.
