ROCKY MOUNT - William Rex Honeycutt, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Born in Wilson County on October 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Junius Honeycutt and Lanie Peele Honeycutt. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Brooks Honeycutt.

William is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Honeycutt; his daughters, Robbins Honeycutt Poole and husband, Dale, of Chapel Hill and Wrenn Honeycutt Nicodemo and husband, Jim, of Uniontown, OH; 4 grandchildren; and his sister, Alice Scott and husband, Sonny.

A service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Englewood United Methodist Church, Rocky Moun with Rev. Nathan Wittman officiating. The family will receive kind words following the service in the Narthex.
