CASTALIA - John Thomas, Jr., 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009.

Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 18 at 3 p.m. at Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Randolph Alston officiating. Burial followed in the Perry’s Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Betty Renee Leonard, of Castalia; brothers, Jesse Thomas and Reese Thomas, both of Louisburg; 4 grandchildren.

Wake services were Saturday, Jan. 17 from 7 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg.
