ROCKY MOUNT - Lois Jean Strickland Davis, age 90, passed away January 18, 2024. She was born in Wilson County on April 5, 1933, oldest daughter of William H. and Lois B. Strickland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Willie "Clyde" Davis, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Randy Davis and wife, Susan of Nashville; sister, Laura O'Neal and husband, Louis of Glen Allen, Virginia; 5 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held January 22, 2024 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount.
