ROCKY MOUNT - William “Sam” Harrison, 69, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19 at Thorne’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Battle as the eulogist and Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. Interment followed immediately after the service at Gardens of Gethsemane.

Visitation was from 4 - 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 18 at H.D. Pope Funeral Home.
