ROCKY MOUNT - Betty Lou "Boo Boo" Vester Flora Langley, age 82, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Born in Nash County on July 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wade Hampton Vester and Lucille Parker Vester. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Alton Ray Flora and her son, Stacey Ray Flora.

Betty Lou is survived by her husband, Melvin Langley; her son, Jamie Flora and his wife, Sherry; her daughter-in-law, Amanda Marie Trauch Flora; four grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Vester Langley and Dolly Vester Tyson; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount with Rev. Tim Griffin officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
