NASHVILLE - Jerry Wayne Dozier, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Born in Nash County on October 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Joseph Ernest Dozier, Jr. and Melba Louise Casey Dozier. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pattie Parker Dozier.

Jerry is survived by his sister, Melba Cheryl Dozier of Nashville; his brother Joseph "Ernest" Dozier, III of Nashville; nieces and a nephew.

A private family ceremony to celebrate Jerry's life will take place at the Dozier Family Pond.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jerry's memory to American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601.
