ROCKY MOUNT - Sylvia B. Strickland was reunited with her Savior on December 17, 2023. She was born in Nash county on February 1,1945 to Fred Hubert And Elsie S. Boone.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Mel Strickland and her daughters, Robin Willams of Red Oak and Amy Bennett of Raleigh along with their husbands, Todd Williams and Sean Bennett; three grandchildren;

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount, with Dr. Steve Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Nash Hospice, 2460 Curtis Ellis Dr., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
