Benjamin "Bennie" Woodrow Vester, 79, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was born October 28, 1944, in Wilson to the late Woodrow "Red" and Christine Vester.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diane Joyner Vester; sons Robin Woodrow Vester (Marcy) of Mount Airy, and Jonathan Steven Vester (Amy) of Elm City; daughter Kristina Vester Griffin (Josh) of Louisburg.

9 grandchildren; his sister Faye Dozier (Eddie); sisters-in-law Judy Glasgow and Debbie Jenkins (Randy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 10 a.m., memorial services at 11a.m., followed by graveside services at the Joyner family cemetery.
