ROCKY MOUNTT - Floyd B. Braswell, age 88, passed away November 3, 2023. He was born June 26, 1935 in Edgecombe County to Charlie and Mollie T. Braswell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Rosie Vick Braswell; brothers, Newsome Earl Braswell, Charlie J. "CJ" Braswell, Jr., and Mark Braswell; and sister, Willie Mae Woodcock.

He is survived by his sons, Steven Braswell and wife, Windy and David C. Braswell and wife, Donna; sister, Christine Moore and husband, Jerry; 4grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Shirley Vick Parker and Dale Sherrod; and brothers-in-law, Charles Vick and Donnie Vick and wife, Linda.

A service was held November 7, 2023 at Morton Presbyterian Church, 6605 West Mount, Dr., Rocky Mount.
