ROCKY MOUNT - Doris Thorne Parham, age 85, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. Born in Wilson County on March 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Thorne and Lula Phillips Thorne. She was also preceded in death by her five siblings and her two sons Brian Parham and William Clifton (Billy) Parham lll, as well as her two beloved dogs, Horace and Sunshine.

Doris is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bill Parham; her three sons, John Phillip Parham of Huntington Beach, CA, Bradley Mark Parham (Suzanne) of Rocky Mount, and Craig Lindsey Parham of Anaheim, CA; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A service was held October 6, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Nathan Wittman officiating.
