ROCKY MOUNT - Patsy Edwards Wiggins, age 84, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. Born in Bladen County on January 1, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Rudolph Edwards and Marie Richardson Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Milton Thomas Wiggins; and her brother, Ernest Rudolph Edwards, Jr.

Patsy is survived by her sons, Milton Thomas Wiggins Jr., of Nashville, Stephen Wiggins (Tiffany), of Winterville; her daughter, Amy Verry (Richard), of Mauldin, S.C.; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Sara Wiggins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro, NC with Rev. Rob Westlund officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
