BAILEY - Jimmy Green, 66, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

Jimmy was born in Spring Hope. He is survived by his father, J.C Green of Spring hope; sons, Jake Green and wife, Jenna of New Bern; Daniel Green and wife, Ashley of Boiling Springs, S.C.; Nick Green and wife, Cynthia of Bailey; sister, Cindy Brantley and husband, Jimmy of Spring Hope and brother Todd Green and wife, Lynn of Bailey; fiancé, Rita Atkinson of Bailey; 7 grandchildren,; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Karen Matthews of Spring Hope. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Bland Green and sister, Teresa Green Lamm.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Spring Hope Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Perry officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family following the service at the funeral home. An entombment will be held at a later date in Oakdale Cemetery, Spring Hope.
