Catherine Hight Pendergrass, 71, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023. She was born February 23, 1952 in Nash County to the late Dave and Catherine Thompson Hight. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Kinslee Pendergrass and a brother, Joe Norman Hight.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Pendergrass; sons, Andy and Edward, Jr. (Pearl) Pendergrass; daughters, Wanda Horne (Billy) and Judy Pendergrass; brothers, David (Lila), Raymond (Reta), and Perry Hight (Wanda); sisters, Josephine Carpenter, Mamie Vaughan, Barbara Alford (Ray), and Peggy Lynch (James); twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
