SPRING HOPE - Peggy Hendricks Tyson, age 80, passed away August 20, 2023. Born in Nash County on October 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Wade Washington Hendricks and Mary Etta Sherrod Hendricks. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Brian "Justin" Beddingfield; her brother, Roy Lee Hendricks; and her sister, Ginger Hendricks Lamm.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tommy Edward Tyson; her daughters, Pamela Scaff Beddingfield and husband, Brian, and Donna Scaff Cady; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brothers, Marshal Hendricks and wife, Faye, William Hendricks and wife, Cathie, James Hendricks, Van Hendricks, and Tommy Hendricks; her sisters, Juanita Marshall, Patrica Wohl, and Brenda Spivey and husband, Joey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Billy Webb officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
