Christopher Earl Bridger, Jr., 35, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was born August 7, 1987 in Durham County. Christopher was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Billy "Hank" Smith; paternal grandfather, Joseph Earl Bridgers; aunt, Kim Smith.

He is survived by his parents, Christopher Bridgers, Sr. (Emma) and Billie Jo Smith; brother, Preston King; maternal grandmother, Edna Rich; paternal grandmother, Brenda Riggs.

A funeral service was held July 31, 2023 . with Rev. Daniel Moss and Rev. David Proctor officiating in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
