BAILEY - Laura Gray Denton Stott, age 91, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stott; granddaughters, Sarah Curtis and Tiffany Stott; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Jean Denton of the home, Debbie Curtis (Ricky) of Bailey, Lori Poythress (Mark) of Bailey; sons, Steve Stott (Anne) of Bailey, Willard Stott (Denise) of Boones Mill, VA; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Shingleton Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery.
