Lillie Marie Gardner Tippett, 81, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was born in Nash County, July 22, 1941 to the late John Gardner and Florine Davis Gardner.

She was married for 57 years to her departed husband, Joe Tippett, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Joey Tippett; three sisters, Virginia Robinson (Joe Davis), Carolyn Parker, and Mary Jane McCarter; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow the service at Red Oak Cemetery. A visitation will be held at other times at 205 Hurt Ct Nashville, NC 27856.
