Mary Elizabeth Edwards, 92, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. She was born January 6, 1931 to the late Charlie and Mary Viverette Proctor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Aaron Edwards; daughter, Judy Edwards Eason; grandson, John Eason, Jr.; three brothers Sidney, Jerry, and Bobby Proctor; sister, Betty Cuddington.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Edwards (Gloria); three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held July 3, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Thomas and Pastor Randy Stallings officiating. Burial followed at Edwards Family Cemetery of Momeyer.
