ROCKY MOUNT - Ralph Dawson Webb, age 86, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023. Born in Macclesfield on May 8, 1937, he was the son of the late John Dawson and Daisy Brown Webb. He was also preceded in death by the Love of His Life, Lois and their infant daughter Teresa Webb; his sister, Leona Broadway of Wilson, and brothers Lewis Webb of Wilson and John Webb of Macclesfield.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph Dawson Webb, Jr. and wife Ann, Michael Webb and wife Stephanie, all of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren: sister-in-law Peggy Webb, several nieces and nephews and foster siblings Jackie Abrams Duncan, Bobby Abrams, Jeri Joyner, and their spouses.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Tyler Williams of West Haven Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow the service at Macclesfield Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to West Haven Presbyterian Church in Ralph's memory.
