ROCKY MOUNT - Nadine Butler Joyner passed away June 3, 2023. Nadine was born November 19, 1936, to Arthur and Mary Butler in Nash County. In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gold Joyner; her brother, Arthur Butler, Jr.; her sister, Evelyn B. Arnold; and her son-in-law, Scott Greene.

Nadine is survived by her daughters, Wendy J. Greene and Sandy J. Tharrington and husband, her son Donnie; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Sue B. Turner and Peggy B. Mills.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount with Rev. Dan Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
