Leonila Trejo Chavez, 87, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023. She was born in Durango Mexico, on January 18, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents Adrian Chavez and Guadalupe Sarabia; children, Lorenza Trejo-Chavez, Francisco Trejo, and Concepcion Trejo.

She is survived by her children, Josefina Velarde, Crecencio Trejo, Jr., Filiberto Trejo, Faustino Trejo, Eva Trejo, Maria Palacios, Francisco Trejo, Marisol Perez, Laura Macias and Jose Trejo; 59 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1:00-3:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 4 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Palacios officiating. Burial will follow at La Hermosa Church Cemetery, Bailey.
