Roberta "Bobbie" Bostrom Waring, age 71, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Born in Miami Dade County, FL on November 13, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Robert James Bostrom and Patricia Louise Clarke Bostrom. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth "Ken" Edward Waring; her sister, Marguerite Rutherford; her brother, Karl Tozzi.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Melanie Waring of Nashville; her sons, Jason Waring, Sr. of Nashville and Patrick Duggan and wife, Lynda, of Nolensville, TN; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 433 S. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount with Rev. Alice Johnson-Curl officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Trinity Lutheran Church.
